WWU Business Students To Research Bitcoin Awareness

with No Comments

wwu_red_square_0Interest in Bitcoin on WWU’s campus continues to rise and now it will be the focus for a 2-person student team this Spring Quarter. The course that the students are taking is Management 492 – Entrepreneurial Problems and is taught by Professor John Sands.

This capstone course for the Management Concentration is described as “Field consulting under faculty supervision and directed towards solving real-life problems.” Students who enroll in the course form teams and then choose a single topic for the entire quarter. In the case for Zach and Jon, they will be assessing awareness of Bitcoin on the WWU campus using in-person surveys. Once they have completed the survey, they will use the results to create a proposal for how to further increase Bitcoin awareness and usage on campus and in the local community.
