Bitcoin Bellingham is a nonprofit organization that is organized and ran by Bitcoin enthusiasts who both live and work in Whatcom County. Our goal is to further the usage and adoption of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency technologies in the Bellingham area.
It is our steadfast belief that Bitcoin will do for money what the internet did for information: to take centralized power and distribute it back to the people. Thus Bitcoin is a key technology in the effort to build and strengthen our local economy.
On the regional level, Bitcoin Bellingham works directly with the Pacific Northwest Cryptocurrency Foundation.
